Filterfloor, good for the well-being and health of your dairy cattle
Filterfloor, good for the well-being and health of your dairy cattle
The floor on which dairy cattle walk and lie has a major impact on animal welfare and health. Filterfloor prevents pain and stress, your animals lie comfortably and walk naturally. Thanks to this low-emission barn system, they also live in clean barn air, with fewer faecal gases.
Clean air through direct manure separation
Separation of manure at source prevents the formation of slurry. There is no longer a rotting process in the manure storage, as a result of which means that significantly fewer ammonia and other fertiliser gases end up in the barn air.
Relaxed and natural walking and lying down
Your dairy cattle have a good grip on the surface of the Filterfloor. The moisture-permeable panels are dry and flexible so that the animals can walk comfortably in a natural position. Experience has shown that many physical complaints of claw and joint problems are caused by hard and slippery surfaces causing stress and an unsafe feeling. On the soft Filterfloor the cow walks and lies down in a relaxed, natural way like in the meadow.
Your animals walk with great steps and full of confidence, as if they were out in the meadow.
Filterfloor, usable in all kinds of stables
Loose housing system
In your loose housing system your dairy cows can walk and lie wherever they want. Plenty of room to move, opportunities for natural herd behaviour and even room to lie stretched out require a good floor. Many dairy farmers use organic materials in this free walk barn such as straw, wood chips sand or compost. However, this requires daily maintenance and good soil management. Filterfloor is an excellent alternative: less labour-intensive and with minimal greenhouse gas and other emissions.
Cubicle housing system
A flat, dry and hygienic walkway with sufficient grip is important for dairy cows in barns. With Filterfloor in the walkways you prevent lameness and claw problems that can occur on concrete or rubber. You will see it with your own eyes: your animals walk with big steps and full of self-confidence, as if they were out in the meadow.
Filterfloor is a start-up that develops and markets a unique, patented Filterfloor system for manure separation at the source. As a start-up, we have gained several years of experience. The development has reached the final phase, which is why we are looking for early adopters who are prepared to give access to their barns for testing the patented Filterfloor system. These pilot projects are intended for research into final emission measurements.
